Bealift Paediatric Bathing Support Aid

The Bealift bath aid is designed help people with special needs in a traditional bath. Aimed to serve the needs of small adults or children, this bath assist supports and lowers the individual into the tub simply by moving a handle.

Crafted into a double ‘U’ shape, the outer ‘U’ acts as a lifting handle. When the frame is resting on the rim of the bath, the lifting handle is pulled in an arc over the top and the bath support begins to lower the user into the bath.

A unique locking device is built-in to make sure that the Bealift does not move unless done so by a carer or parent.

Velcro straps are installed in the bathing device to make sure that children are safely strapped in at bathing time, allowing both them and the carer/parent to enjoy the bathing experience. It’s also easily operated by one person, meaning that lots of back strain is avoided and the main focus can be on the user.

Adaptations and changes can be made to the Bealift to make sure it fits in your tub. It’s also available in different sizes with extensions should you need it.

The polyester mesh allows good circulation of water within the bath itself, and all the metal elements are anti-corrosion. The foam padding included for comfort is also water resistant.
