We consulted Manchester Royal Infirmary at various stages in the design process of this seating solution, to create a riser recline chair that is slim in profile and fully manoeuvrable, at the same time as offering the electric functionality you would expect, whilst remaining homely and comfortable.

Tilt in space
The tilt in space function enables even weight distribution, bringing you benefits such as better pressure care as well as offering additional postural support, better blood circulation, assisted breathing and swallowing, and more.
Vertical rise
The vertical rise function helps lift you into a standing position, rising vertically at first then gradually tilting you forward.
Backrest recline
The backrest recline function allows you to recline with or without your feet up, allowing you to geta a good rest or catch some sleep.
Designed for easy portering
Our riser recliner has a narrow profile (less than 70cm wide), is easy to move on smooth gliding braked castors, and has an ergonomically designed push handle on the back which is angle adjustable.
Adjustable arms
Arm height can be adjusted as well as removed fully for easier side transfers.
Interchangeable backrest
Waterfall, lateral or cocoon backrests are available to suit your individual needs. We have all the accessories you could need available in a bundle.
Completely adjustable
Seat depth, width and arm height can be easily adjusted to your preference, meaning you can be at your comfiest. It also means it can be resized for multiple people.
Multiple motor options
You can choose whether you would like to be able to control all the chair's functionality via an easy-to-use handset, or if you would just like to control the rise and recline.
Ideal for infection control
The easy removal of the sides of the chair make cleaning quicker and easier. All materials can withstand rigorous and regular wiping, and the cushion covers can be removed for machine washing.

Tilt in space function
The locking tilt in space function allows you to pivot the user back in the recliner chair and redistribute their weight more evenly across contact points. The tilt in space also offers additional postural support, better blood circulation, and assistance with breathing and swallowing.
Vertical rise
The vertical rise function helps lift people into a standing position who may be unsteady on their feet, rising vertically at first then gradually tilting them forward.

As our riser recliner chair is fully adjustable, it enables extra comfort, as the chair is fitted to each individual. It also makes it appropriate for multi-user environments, as adjustments are quick, easy and don't require tools.

Our riser recliner chair is built with a slim profile (less than 70cm wide), easy to move on smooth gliding braked castors, and has an ergonomically designed pushed handle on the back which is angle adjustable. The height of the handle can also be moved up and down to assist carers moving the chair around.
Designed for comfort
We know how important it is to be comfortable, especially when a lot of hours of the day are spent in a chair. Because of this every aspect of our riser recliner chair has been designed to make you as comfortable as possible. As standard, our chair cushions are Levitex® foam, specially engineered to mould to your body shape for improved comfort. However, this can be swapped for a cool-gel or alternating air cushion for those at higher risk of developing pressure injuries. On top of this, our fully adjustable chair ensures a perfect fit, every time.
Easy transfers
The removeable arms allow for easy side transfers.
Multiple motor options
Our riser recliner chair has a choice of two motor options. If you choose the single motor action, your remote will have two buttons, allowing you to control the rise recline movement. If you choose the dual motor action, your remote will have four buttons, allowing you to control both the tilt and backrest recline.
Enhanced Compatibility
The redesigned chair base and armrests help transfer aids move right up to the chair for easier transfers.
Multiple backrest options
Interchangeable back rests allow you to find the appropriate level of support needed. A waterfall backrest comes as standard but can be replaced with lateral or cocoon backrests. Waterfall backrests are great for reducing pressure on the spine, and they now come with magnetic attachments so they can be easily repositioned to suit the person’s posture.
