Compact when folded up and ready to transport in the boot of a car or even in the overhead compartments of trains and airplanes; the Quickie q50r carbon is also a compact & narrow wheelchair that can be used indoors thanks to its tight 800mm turning circle & narrow width.
The carbon fibre frame is not only incredibly light but robust too. Its natural flex and solid build provide a smooth, reliable ride.
The rear-anti tip wheels double up as transport wheels when folded.
The chair folds in one smooth easy motion, without having to remove the battery. A transport strap comes as standard to assist lifting and stowing in luggage compartments.
The armrests flip back for side transfers and the footrest flips up to give space for standing transfers.
The breathable fabric allows heat to pass through, keeping you cool and dry.
The Lithium-Ion battery is approved for aircraft transportation by IATA (International Air Transport Association), and can be charged even when the chair is folded. A second battery can be added to increase the travel range to 24km. 250W high efficiency brushless motors power this ultra lightweight lithium-ion battery wheelchair.
