The manual legspread pedals can also be used to bring the legs closer together, allowing the elastic strap to be pulled over the front castors to hold everything in place for compact storage and transportation. The hoist can be wheeled around with ease whilst in the folded position. Conveniently, the Smart 150 patient lift can also be split into 2 parts to reduce the bulk and weight of the hoist with the heaviest section just 13.5kg.

The 4-point spreader bar offers excellent support and comfort to the individual, whilst accommodating a higher or lower lifting range from the floor. This lifting aid offers manual and electric lowering functions and the emergency stop button is easily accessible for peace of mind for both the user and the carer. The Smart 150 also has a built-in automatic service notification, which calculates when the hoist requires servicing.

The Smart 150 comes with a handy travel bag that’s equipped with extra large wheels to protect the lifter and make it easier to transport. There’s also a travel suitcase with extra protection for when the hoist needs transporting by air.
