The Tate II electric rise and recline chair combines the sturdy features of the original Tate model with fresh, innovative thinking to deliver incredible comfort, support, and enhanced functionality. This attractive, modern-styled chair is available in a variety of sewn upholstery covers so it can easily blend into any domestic environment.

With a safe user weight limit of 25 stone (160kg), the Tate II offers comfort and supports to most users, and can facilitate easier transfers with the benefit of a double drop arm unit. This gives better access when hoisting the individual into and out of the chair from the side, making the Tate II an ideal model for use in hospices, hospitals, clinics, operating day surgeries, oncology units, and dialysis services.

The Tate II also doubles as a pressure relief chair. The built-in tilt-in-space function maintains the individual’s initial seated position through recline, reducing the risk of friction and shear forces whilst redistributing body weight over a larger surface to minimise stress on pressure points. The optional inclusion of Intelli-Gel High Risk Pressure Relief seat module is recommended for users who require very high pressure relief.

The Tate II electric rise and recline chair comes with optional seam sealing Dartex polyurethane upholstery to improve infection control and make cleaning the chair even easier.
