The Carer Pro is a true lie-flat chair purpose-designed for critical care, ICU and high-dependency wards, where patients often spend long periods in a lying position.

Easy, Safe Transfers

Transferring a patient laterally when they are not fully conscious is often the hardest and riskiest part of early mobilisation. IV lines and cannulas may be attached to the patient and need transferring with care. The Carer Pro's drop-down wings and sides open up full-access transfers from both sides, creating a smooth transfer surface to move from bed to chair or vice versa.

True Lie-Flat Positioning

Unlike chairs that have joints between seat sections, the Carer Pro's seat, backrest and legrest form one continuous, seamless surface when fully reclined, turning the Carer Pro into a treatment couch. That is a huge benefit for patients who spend long periods lying flat, as it maximises pressure distribution and removes any seams or joins that may be a pressure point.
