We developed this unique mobile seating solution with Manchester Royal Infirmary, to create a riser recliner chair that has a narrow profile (less than 70cm wide), is easy to move on smooth gliding braked castors, and has an ergonomically designed push handle on the back which is angle adjustable.  The height of the handle can also be moved up and down to assist carers moving the chair around hospital and care home wards.

The Lento Mobile is a fully adjustable rise and recline chair to fit multiple users within your healthcare facility.  You can easily adjust the seating without any tools or training, to find the right width, depth and height measurements needed to properly care for each individual patient/client.

• Tilt in Space – The locking tilt-in-space function allows you to pivot the user back in the recliner chair and redistribute their weight more evenly across contact points. This brings clinical benefits such as better pressure care as well as offering additional postural support, better blood circulation, assisted breathing and swallowing, and more.
•  Rise Recline and Independent Back Angle Movement – Users can recline with or without their feet up for a good rest, or just to watch TV in comfort.  Having feet and legs up can assist with swelling and Oedema too.
• Vertical Rise – The vertical rise function helps lift people into a standing position who may be unsteady on their feet, rising vertically at first then gradually tilting them forward.
• Single or Dual Motor Action – The chair’s functionality is controlled by an ergonomic and easy-to-use handset, and you can choose whether you want single or dual motor action:
• Single Motor Action: the remote will have two buttons, allowing you to control the rise recline movement.
• Dual Motor Action: the remote will have four buttons, allowing you to control both the tilt and the backrest recline.
• Arm Adjustments – The arm height can be adjusted on the Lento Mobile Chair, as well as being fully removeable for easier side transfers.

Stop The Pressure: Pressure Relief Options

A Visco foam pressure-reliving cushion is installed into the seating area as standard, but like other parts of this widely adjustable riser recliner chair, the foam cushion can be removed and replaced with a pressure relief cushion (such as a cool gel cushion) for patients at higher risk of developing ulcers/injuries.

Interchangeable Backrest Options & Accessories

Interchangeable backrests allow carers to choose the right level of support for the seated user. A waterfall backrest comes as standard but can be replaced with lateral or cocoon backrests.  Waterfall backrests are great for reducing pressure on the spine, and they now come with magnetic attachments so they can be easily repositioned to suit the person’s posture.

Compatible with the Sara Stedy, other regular stand-aids and mobile hoists. Users who have difficulty standing can easily be assisted to their feet when sitting in the Lento Mobile chair.

Designed For Easier Infection Control: The Lento Mobile riser recliner chair incorporates modular cushions that all have optional magnetic attachments (no velcro), which is important for infection-controlled areas. The materials are strong and able to withstand regular rigorous cleaning using all standard detergents. Additionally, the cushion covers can be fully removed for machine washing.
