Our specialist guest speaker Theresa McNally is the Creative Practice Manager at Vida Healthcare and a Mental Health Nurse. She splits her time between Teaching staff about Dementia, supporting families and engaging therapeutically with residents.

Theresa has worked with hundreds of people living with Dementia in many different settings and bases her work on what those people have taught her underpinned by study and research. In her engagement with residents at the homes Theresa involves music, storytelling and puppetry. The central theme of her work is to identify the barriers that separate us from people living with Dementia and to find the things that brings us closer together and which creates equality….to relax, let go and together find the ‘magic’.
