We’re expanding our reach with the Raizer!

The entire Vivid Care team is very happy to announce that we are expanding our exclusive dealership area for the Raizer! We are now one of only two Raizer suppliers in the whole of the United Kingdom.

The decision was made last month at a global dealer seminar in Denmark, the home of the Raizer. Although the device was only launched three years ago, it’s having a major impact on the way that healthcare professionals and carers respond to falls.

The Raizer is put together around a fallen person and lifts them back to a seated or standing position within about three minutes. What makes the Raizer truly unique is that it can be operated by just one person, giving them the ability to maintain eye contact with the fallen person and chat with them whilst they are being lifted.

The Raizer can be used by a single operator and they can easily chat and keep eye contact with the fallen person to make sure they’re comfortable and calm.

The Raizer is now used by various emergency services all over the UK.

Our sales manager, George Hulbert, said:

“We’ve seen an incredible uptake in Raizer sales over the past couple of years, and that’s because it’s a truly unique piece of equipment.

“The Raizer prevents unnecessary ambulance and call-outs and needless hospital stays, which is vital to save money in the NHS. We’re excited to get going in our new distribution area and see how this device could help other NHS trusts across the country.”

Vivid Care will now have exclusive dealership of the Raizer emergency lifting chair as far south as Warwickshire, Leicestershire, and some parts of Birmingham. Our friends at a company called Felgains will cover the rest of the south as far down as Cornwall and the whole of Wales.

We recently shared an article that showed the full extent of the cost of falls in the UK. Between the cost of hospital stays for people who have injured themselves falling over, as well as ambulance call-outs to get people back on their feet, it’s estimated that falls cost the NHS about £2.3 billion every year.

We believe that the Raizer could help alleviate some of the pressure on the NHS as well as the cost of unnecessary call-outs by getting people back on their feet wherever possible.

Tristan Hulbert, our managing director, said:

“It’s a great accomplishment for us to be working so closely with a Danish company when the perils of Brexit seem to be dominating the news.

“Falls in the UK is a huge issue, so to be supplying a product that could help relieve pressure on the healthcare service and other healthcare professionals is a huge thing for us. We very much look forward to working with new clients in our area.”

Our Raizer team will now cover from the most northern tip of Scotland down to the depths of Warwickshire. So if you’re wanting a free, no-obligation assessment or some more information, get in touch!
